Ingredients:
2 CUPS OF BUTTERMILK
6 TABLESPOON OF SHORTENING
2 TABLESPOON SUGAR
1 TEASPOON OF SALT
1/2 TEASPOON OF SODA
1 CAKE OF YEAST
6 CUPS OF FLOUR
Instructions:
Scald milk add shortening, sugar, salt and soda cool to luke warm.
Add yeast disolved in 1/4 cup warm water
Add 3 cups of flour and stir to make a smooth
batter add remaining flour to make stif dough.
Turn onto floured board and knees until smooth elastic.
Shape into rolls and let rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 375* to 400* for 15 to 20 minutes.
