Ingredients:
2 Sticks butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup Brown sugar
3 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 lb Candied cherries, chopped
1 lb Candied pineapple, chopped
1 lb Dates, chopped
6 cup Pecans, chopped
1/2 cup Buttermilk
3 Eggs, well beaten
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Salt
Instructions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and
add alternately with milk to sugar/butter/eggs mixture. Pour batter
into chopped fruits and nuts. Mix. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased
cookie sheet and bake 25 min. in a 300 degree oven. Do not burn.
