  Dixie Stampede Creamy Veggie Soup

Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine or butter(salted is ok)
1 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons corn syrup
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoons salt
1 cup chicken broth
3 cups water
3/4 cup of each finely chopped or shreadded cooked potatoes, carrots and corn
(diced canned potatoes and canned carrot slices diced very small will work)
4 cups half-and-half cream
(also try it with heavy cream for a richer taste)
Instructions:
In a 3 or 5qt. sauce pot, melt margarine.
Add onion, garlic, and corn syrup.
Simmer 1 minute. Do NOT brown.
Add flour, white pepper, salt, chicken broth, water, and vegetables.
Simmer 3 minutes.
Add half & half.

Simmer until desired consistency.at least 1 hour

Stir constantly - do NOT bring to boil.
