  Homemade Heath Bars...
  Category: Candy

Ingredients:
Butter
1/2 cup Nuts, chopped, any kind
4 Hershey chocolate bars
1/2 cup Butter, (1 stick)
2/3 cup Brown sugar, dark
Instructions:
Butter the bottom of a loaf pan. Sprinkle nuts into the pan. Unwrap
the 4 hershey bars and reserve. Stir butter and brown sugar in
saucepan over medium heat. Stir CONSTANTLY. When it begins actually
boiling, start timing exactly 6 minutes while continuing to stir
constantly. After 6 minutes, immediately pour the mixture over the
nuts, spreading evenly. Then cover the hot mixture with the chocolate
bars, smoothing with a spatular as the chocolate melts. Chill. Break
into uneven pieces by poking a dull knife through the candy. This
recipe is easily tripled or quadrupled.
