  CHICKEN WITH LEEKS AND POTATOES

Ingredients:
Chicken parts your choice don't use boneless
4 potatoes to 5 sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 leek thinly sliced
1 package leek soup Knorr is one brand
1 C. water
Seasonings to taste
Instructions:
Layer potatoes in bottom of crock pot, top with onion or leek, and then add chicken. If you will have several layers of chicken, salt and pepper bottom layers as you put them in. Don't season top layer yet. Mix leek soup with approximately 1/2 C. water, pour over all. Season top layer of chicken. At this point, you may also sprinkle with paprika to give it color. If you like, add a couple of cloves of minced garlic and some fresh rosemary. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
