  SPICE OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients:
1 C. water
2 C. raisins
4 Tbls. sweetener
1/2 C. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2-1/2 C. oatmeal
1/2 C. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
Instructions:
Boil water and raisins. Cool 5 minutes. Add sweetener, butter, salt, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, oatmeal, chopped nuts, and soda. Form into balls. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 325 degrees F. Cool on rack.
