Ingredients:
1/4 C. margarine
1/3 C. brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
2 C. shredded wheat biscuit, crumbled
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
1 C. raisins
Instructions:
In a microwave safe dish, combine margarine and brown sugar. Microwave on high about 1 minute to melt the margarine. Beat in egg when sugar mixture has cooled, about 5 minutes. Add shredded wheat, walnuts, and raisins. Stir until well mixed. Pat into the bottom of a 5-inch square microwave safe dish. Microwave on high about 4 to 6 minutes. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before cutting into bars. To prepare in a conventional oven, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream together margarine and brown sugar. Beat in egg and add the remaining ingredients. Pat mixture into bottom of an 8-inch square pan. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until top is browned. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
