Ingredients:
3 large carrots, peeled
2 large celery ribs
2 large onions
3 beef ribs
3/4 cup barley
1 T beef-flavor instant bouillon
1/2 tsp. pepper
10 cups water
Instructions:
Cut carrots and celery into 2 inch pieces and dice onions. Combine carrots, celery, onions, beef ribs, barley, bouillon, pepper, and water in a large pot. Bring to boiling over medium heat. Reduce heat to law, cover and simmer 1 hour or until barley is tender, stirring occasionly. Remove beef ribs from pot and skim fat from soup. Cut meat from bones and discard bones. Return meat to soup and heat through.
