  SAVORY CREAMED BEETS

Ingredients:
1 lb. can sliced or diced beets (approx. 2 C.)
4 Tbsp. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
1/ 2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. minced fresh chives
Instructions:
Drain beets well and place in a saucepan. Add remaining ingredients with the exception of the minced chives. Stir and heat through gently but thoroughly. Serve piping hot sprinkled with the minced fresh chives.
