Ingredients:
3 tbsp Butter
2 cup Canned tomatoes
1 1/2 cup Hot water or stock
2 tbsp Onion flakes
3 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/8 tsp Thyme
1/2 lb Raw shrimp, peeled
3 tbsp Flour
1/4 cup Tomato paste
1/2 cup Diced green pepper
2 tbsp Chopped parsley
2 tsp Chili powder
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
2 cup Diced, cooked ham
1 tsp Lemon juice
Instructions:
Melt butter in a 2.5 qt heavy saucepan. Remove from heat. Blend in
flour and cook over low heat until the mixture is a medium to dark
brown. Remove from heat and add the next 11 ingredients.
Simmer 20 minutes, covered. Add ham, shrimp and lemon juice. Cook
uncovered, for 10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Serve over hot
cooked rice.
